Petting zoo de Buiktuin, AmsterdamOctober 2nd petting zoo de Buiktuin celebrated World Animal Day. The Dutch Parrot Foundation was present again just like last year. The weather was beautiful, so it promised to be a wonderful afternoon. The volunteers of de Buiktuin had everything well organized and there were a lot of things to do. De Buiktuin is a popular petting zoo, so we had a lot of people to share our experience with. We also enjoyed seeing the African grey who we met the year before and had quite a crooked leg due to rickets and who has had surgery since. The animal has made a great recovery and has become a happy bird.The photographs and video recordings speak for themselves |
